SQL Merger Enterprise Edition 1.2.0.2

SQLMerger can make a complete merge in one single step and
thereby automate a process normally taking a lot of time
and which is difficult to complete 100% correctly. It is
also possible, with a number of semiautomatic tools, to
make other types of merges between two tables, e.g. add
all lines which does not exist already in a certain set of
data. By using SQLMerger you also get access to
techniques, which make the creation and copying of new
data much easier. The design of the system is made in a
way so it is possible to control exactly what to base the
scripting on. You also get new and indispensable
possibilities with an extended and flexible script
execution, e.g. single step option and logging of only
completed statements.
Visualization
The visualization of differences can also be used as a
means of obtaining a really good insight into the
database. It provides an effective method of browsing and
analyzing data in tables and you can e.g. sort on all
columns - also the control columns, which for example
tells whether a line is 'local', 'different', 'changed' or
'new'. It can also be used for quickly getting an overview
on how the contents of several databases look like
compared to each other. Ofcause it can also be used in
relation to comparing a database backup with a newer
changed version.
Lookups
In relation to browsing an editing data, it is possible to
add so-called lookup columns with data from other tables,
in a way so you automatically in addition to for example
an original column with "UserID", after this also have a
dropdown columns with the "UserName", originating from a
table with users. This way it becomes easy to read and
edit data directly in the database (still through SQL
statements generated ofcause).
