BENTLEY MX 8.05.02.02

The major changes since V2.6.3 (the previous release) are:
Consolidation of all enhancements and fixes previously included in MX
V2.6.1, V2.6.2 and V2.6.3 or despatched as Maintenance Release MR1, MR2
and MR3. Implementation in the AutoCAD 2004 environment. This will have
been accomplished with the previous release of Maintenance Release MR3
and the supply to new customers of MX V2.6.3.
Bug fix and enhancement projects for all applications and products to
improve stability Non-tangential alignment.
Removal of DGN priority in favour of DPW/DPF when resolving conflicts
between strings modified in a different MX environment.
MX Key-ins is now available from the MX Controls toolbox..
MXDRAW major enhancements such as; stepped profiles, multiple viewports
and Bentley ownership and maintenance of drawing styles for all markets
to ensure compliance with a single standard function command set.
This will necessitate all existing styles and tips files are updated.
Distributors and customers with their own customization of a style will
be able to continue to use it for a limited period.
It is recommended that a customization of a style is repeated using a
new style shipped at V8.5, as future support and enhancement will no
longer be made available for styles using `drawinglibrary.dll'. It should
be noted that all shipped V8.5 styles use the functionality available
in `CADlibrary.dll'.
Introduction of Catchment Areas option.
Support of Bentley SELECT licensing
Supply of all media via the Bentley SELECT and MySELECT CD order
fulfilment process.
Bentley branding and installation.
Removal from the MX distribution of the 'English' or equivalent folder,
MX Change, Bonus Tools, Utilities and the Arenium Client. This means
that V8.5 will not include IE or MDAC. It is now your own responsibility
to bring to a specified standard all dependent software on all machines
on which MX is to be installed. Advice and assistance is given when
the dependent software does not meet the specified standard.
The supply of Tools, MX Change are available as web-downloads from
Bentley SELECT.
