Off-line programming minimizes production downtime

Using the Robotstudio virtual controller, an exact replica of the real ABB robot controller, the robot programmer can create robot programs on a PC and test different alternatives in the digital ?robot cell. to find the best solution. Which means new robotic solutions can be evaluated before the systems are in production, or even before they are built. It also enables certain complicated jobs to be automated that were previously out of bounds to robots purely because of the lengthy online programming time required.
What is more, with Robotstudio robot programs can be prepared in advance, increasing the overall productivity of the production system. Either way, off-line programming maximizes the customer-s return on investment and makes production planning far more efficient.
